ENFIELDMANIA
This is a photograph of a Royal Enfield that my son, 1st Lt. Jonathan Mayer, saw in Iraq. That's a picture of him stading with it. He's looking forward to seeing your article on the new fuel injected Enfields... and the whole magazine, of course.
In our family, we're all avid riders. I ride a '97 Valkyrie while my wife rides an '07 Honda Shadow Aero. Both of my sons recently sold their bikes before leaving for deployments (one with the Air Force and one with the Army), but look forward to getting their next bikes (cruisers instead of crotch rockets this time) when they return from military deployments.
We all enjoy Motorcycle Cruiser and the wonderful pictures and articles. We also love Zimmerman's "dirty pages" with coffee and grease stains all over the place, just like he wrote right there in the garage!

THE THERAPEUTIC TOUR
I almost became an ex-subscriber... Until, I saw Bill Sanders' great articles "Cheaper than Therapy" in your June and July issues. What can I say, a day of great motorcycling capped off with a cigar (or two) and some "adult beverages" pretty much works for me too. I bought my Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad in '99 with big trips like that in mind, but so far have only been as far south as Seaside, Oregon and Lillooet, BC (near Whistler) going the other way. I definitely need to extend my range. I think Bill's articles have built a fire under me.
Thanks for a fine magazine, keep great articles like Bill's coming and I'll be returning for more! And I hope he landed that job!

Bill did, indeed land his job, where he continues to enjoy his employment.-BB
I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed "Cheaper Than Therapy". What really made me feel good was the part where he met a guy 77-years old who was touring with his wife. I'm 72-years old and although I am not a touring-type motorcyclist, I still enjoy getting out on my Star Classic. Keep up the good work.
